Physicians nearing retirement, a foreseeable crisis?

Of the 19 associations affiliated with the FMOQ, AMOM is showing the highest indicators of aging members by far among all the regions in Quebec. While this average hovers around 48 across the province, the average age of male general practitioners here in Montreal is over 55. This is over and above the 550 Montreal physicians who are over 56 and will soon reach retirement,
if they have not already done so.
