At the end of this conference, participant will be able to:

Reshaping the Tx algorithm in T2DM
1. Evaluate specific characteristics of the different GLP1s in order to guide individualised approach to diabetic patients;
2. Recognize the clinical indications of when to initialte GLP1s;
3. Learn and implement the most current Diabetes Canada,as well as the joint ESC (European Society of Cardiology) and EASD (European Association for the Study of Diabetes) guidelines on diabetes and future trends in diabetes management;
4. Recognize the benefits of early control and implement strategies.

The use of DOACs during COVID
1. Learn how to manage anticoagulation safely in Atrial Fibrillation during COVID 19;
2. Learn how to manage anticoagulation safely in patients with suspected DVT COVID 19;
3. Develop clinical approaches to treatment for DVT in patients with cancer.

Adult Immunization Against Respiratory Infections in Our New Environment
1. Identify populations at risk with respect to age and co morbid conditions;
2. Cite the vaccines available against pneumococcal pneumonia and learn the national & provincial guidelines;
3. Develop clinical approaches to overcome the challenges associated with vaccinations during a pandemic.
