For the past few years, in the wake of Bill 90 on the division of tasks among health professionals, family physicians have jumped into the wide world of collective prescriptions. Intended for pharmacists and nurses, these prescriptions were meant to be a way to delegate certain acts that can be done by others, according to the agreed upon protocols. The goal was to take some tasks away from us in order to free up some time, thereby improving patient access to physicians.
