À la fin de cette conférence, les participants seront en mesure de:

Diabetic Kidney Disease - DKD Action (CEM 257)
1.Order and interpret laboratory values for timely recognition of, and intervention in, kidney disease in patients with type 2 diabetes;
2.Recognize the high cardiovascular risk associated with kidney disease and proteinuria in patients with type 2 diabetes;
3.Optimize therapies for the treatment of type 2 diabetes to prevent or slow the progression of kidney disease and the need for dialysis.

Inflammatory Arthritis (and the CRDS): What the general practitioner can do?
1. Discuss the differential diagnosis of polyarthritis;
2. Identify which laboratory tests are most pertinent to request for patients;
3. Elaborate and apply treatment approaches for inflammatory arthritis and identify what can be initiated while waiting for an appointment with the Rheumatologist;
4. Review the Rheumatology CRDS form and identify how to maximize its use in order to accelerate the time to getting an appointment.
