Founded in 1967, the Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing fundamental and clinical biomedical research. A research center affiliated with the Université de Montréal and associated with McGill University, the IRCM also houses an outpatient clinic (outside the public healthcare network) affiliated with the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM).
Our clinic is a recognized referral center for the management of complex and/or rare conditions, such as genetic dyslipidemias, type 1 diabetes, and complex forms of type 2 diabetes. Patient care is based on an interdisciplinary approach supported by an experienced team, including clinical nurses, nutritionists, genetic counselors, and kinesiologists. All interventions are coordinated through an electronic medical record system. The IRCM also plays an active role in teaching and clinical research, contributing to the training of future healthcare professionals and to innovation in health.
As part of the development of our cardiometabolic clinics (lipids and diabetes), we are seeking to expand our team of family physicians and are recruiting one or two family physicians, on a full-time or part-time basis. Candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in cardiometabolic medicine. Training, supervision, and mentorship will be provided.
